Thank you Matt Damon for bringing up the banned books!!! (and Chris for posting this!) Palin tried to fire a city librarian for not removing books Palin objected to from the shelves, and only backed off when she came under fire from the locals. How many people has Palin tried (or succeeded) to have fired because they would not give in to her wishes? Seems like Palin has a hard time separating public duty from personal interest.
